Fosterhub.ca
Fosterhub.ca is a website which provides support resources and information to foster caregivers. The site uses WordPress as its content management system and is a good example of a site which contains multiple types of content (for example, text content, photos, media such as PDF, and others). Other functions like an event calendar showing a continually changing schedule of relevant events, were all implemented using the WordPress system.
The most important requirement for this site was ease of use for staff to make updates. Existing staff with limited experience with website support must be able to maintain it, with minimum training. With WordPress as a content management system, this was easily accomplished!
