WordPress Custom Fields are a great way to make WordPress display your blog posts or pages in a special way. For example:
- Add the music you happen to be listening to, or your mood, to your blog posts
- Add links to external resources that complement or supplement your posts
- Add specific thumbnails next to your posts
- Add links to affiliate offers or “buy now” functions for products you feature in your posts
With just a little bit of code, you can get a lot of mileage out of WordPress custom fields.
