How to Setup dazil e-mail with Mozilla Thunderbird

  1. Open Mozilla Thunderbird. On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
  2. On the Account Settings page, click Add Account.
  3. In the Account Wizard, on the New Account Setup page, select E-mail account, and then click Next or Continue.
  4. On the Identity page, in the Your Name box, enter the name that you want to appear in the from field of your outgoing messages and then, in the E-mail Address box, enter your e-mail address (e.g. myname@mydomain.com).
  5. On the Server Information page, select POP, and then click Next or Continue.
  6. In the Incoming Server (POP3) box, enter mail.dazil.com
  7. Outgoing Server (SMTP) box, enter your ISP’s SMTP server (shawmail for Shaw, smtp.telus.net for Telus),  and then click Next or Continue.
  8. On the User Names page, enter your e-mail address in the Incoming User Name box, and then click Next or Continue.
  9. On the Account Name page, enter the name you want to use to refer to this e-mail account, and then click Next or Continue.
  10. On the Congratulations page, review your configurations, and then click Finish or Done to exit the wizard.
